Etihad Airways has unveiled a bespoke livery to mark its 20th anniversary, showcasing the beauty of unity and the airline’s Emirati identity.

The design, applied to one of its new A321neos, features iconic Abu Dhabi landmarks and reflects the airline’s rich history and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

“The livery marks our 20th year of delivering remarkable service, fulfilling our mission to deliver extraordinary experiences inspired by our Emirati identity,” said Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s Chief Executive Officer.

“It reflects the journey we have been on, and it also sets the tone for our future as we give flight to our ambition, to be the airline that everyone wants to fly.”

The livery decal, displayed in both Arabic and English, wraps around both sides of the fuselage. Six A321neos have joined the fleet, equipped with advanced CFM LEAP 1A engines, offering reduced emissions and up to 20% more efficiency.

“We are pleased to have brought in this fleet so quickly after committing the aircraft in December last year,” said John Wright, Etihad’s Chief Operations and Guest Officer.

“With constrained aircraft deliveries worldwide, this fleet is an important bridge for our growth plans as we anticipate the arrival of over 20 new aircraft in 2025.”

The aircraft will be deployed across various routes, including services to India and the Middle East, showcasing the new livery to guests across Etihad’s network. This milestone marks a significant step in Etihad’s growth strategy, solidifying its position as a leading airline in the region.
