Duncan Muriuki of South Africa’s Destination Africa travel agency reported a noticeable increase in visitors, while Airlink, a budget airline, has seen a rise in passengers since launching in Kenya.
Sales Manager William Omondi confirmed that many Kenyans are now favoring South Africa over Dubai for affordable travel.
The visa removal, agreed upon by Presidents William Ruto and Cyril Ramaphosa, is expected to strengthen cultural and economic ties between the countries.
