Malawi Airlines is introducing new flights to Mozambique, Rwanda, and Uganda, marking growth for the airline.
The affordable fares for the flights are expected to be introduced soon. The airline plans to start operating to Kigali, Rwanda, Nampula, and Bemba in Mozambique, and is considering starting operations to Uganda by the end of the year.
The Dean of Faculty of Tourism, Hospitality and Management at Mzuzu University, Dr Lameck Zetu Khonje, praised the move as a positive development in tourism, stating that connecting Malawi with Rwanda and Mozambique would facilitate easy inflows from these countries.
