The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is partnering with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) to reduce multiple baggage check points at airports, particularly at international terminals.
The two organisations aim to reduce the number of military and paramilitary personnel at international gateways for smoother air travel.

Managing Director Olubunmi Kuku explains that multiple baggage check points cause unnecessary delays and unease for the travelling public.
FAAN and ONSA have agreed to implement short and long-term measures, including creating a joint coordination room for agencies to view Closed Circuit Television cameras.
