Nigerian traveler Ilerioluwa Babalobi is set to embark on a nine-month Africa tour to set a world record.
Starting from the Red Cross office in Lagos, Babalobi will visit 54 African countries by road and sea using public transportation. He will spend an average of five days in each state to raise awareness for social interventions.
This will make Babalobi the first African to tour the continent without using an aircraft. He has previously visited each Nigerian state, the 16 regions of Ghana, and over a dozen African countries.
