The Nigerian government’s plan to concession several airports will not lead to job losses, according to Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
Speaking at a recent event in Lagos, Keyamo assured that concessionaires will assume only existing liabilities, including employee contracts.
The minister emphasized transparency in the process and pledged to involve labor unions to avoid the resistance faced by past concession efforts.
