China Introduces 30-Day Visa-Free Policy for 9 Additional Countries

China has announced a 30-day visa-free policy for citizens of nine additional countries, including Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Estonia, Montenegro, Malta, North Macedonia, Latvia, and Japan. 

The policy takes effect on November 30, 2024. Additionally, China has extended the visa-free stay period from 15 days to 30 days for citizens of 38 countries, effective November 20, 2024.

This brings the total number of nationalities eligible for visa-free travel to China to 63. Eligible travelers can enjoy visa-free entry for tourism, business, family visits, or transit.
