Rwandan ICT service provider AOS has called on the world, particularly the youth, to visit Genocide Memorials in Rwanda to prevent atrocities like the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The company’s CEO, Seong Woo Kim, emphasized the importance of unity in preventing genocide in Rwanda and globally.

Kim has visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial twice to understand the tragic history of the Genocide and the use of “sophisticated brainwashing” by bad leadership.

AOS staff, 70% of whom are youth, visited the memorial site to fulfill their role in preventing such atrocities from occurring again.

AOS is a joint venture between the Rwandan government and Korea Telecom to stimulate the growth of ICT in Rwanda, transfer technology, and localize skills to support the transformation of Rwanda into a knowledge-based economy.

It operates the National Data Centre of Rwanda and offers various ICT services. Korea Telecom has been a strong partner with the Rwandan government, focusing on developing the ICT sector into a vibrant industry, positioning Rwanda as the regional ICT hub, and fueling economic growth.
