Aerotel Shanghai Pudong Airport Hotel is set to open in Q2 2025, marking the brand’s debut in Shanghai and the 11th global property for Plaza Premium Group (PPG).
Located in Terminal 2 of Pudong International Airport, the 82-room hotel will offer flexible booking options for short stays, catering to international travelers seeking rest between flights.
The project is part of PPG’s expansion in Greater China, following successful ventures in Macau and Chongqing. In collaboration with Shanghai Airport Group, Aerotel aims to enhance the passenger experience at this key aviation hub.

PPG CEO Song Hoi-See highlighted the strategic importance of this development, while Shanghai Airport President Feng Xin emphasized its role in transforming Pudong into a world-class airport.
Aerotel’s arrival coincides with the launch of PPG’s global travel membership program, Smart Traveller.
