South African Tourism has announced ‘Africa’s Travel INDABA 2024’, a three-day trade show in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, to host over 40 Indian trade partners.
Nearly 95% of the contingent will consist of buyers from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, aiming to highlight the potential and opportunities in these new source regions.
The event will showcase new and untapped regions within South Africa, including KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and the Free State, offering unique experiences. South Africa’s Hub Head, Neliswa Nkani, believes that India stands as a strategic market for South African Tourism, with a 43% surge in inbound travelers from India in 2023.
The delegation reflects South Africa’s recognition of India’s growing appetite for outbound tourism and its potential as a key source market.
