Nigeria’s Abuja and Port Harcourt Airports Win Prestigious ACI Africa Awards

The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and Port Harcourt International Airport have been honored by the Airports Council International (ACI) Africa for their excellence in emergency management and resilience. 

The recognition came during the 33rd ACI Africa Annual General Assembly in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Tunde Moshood, Special Assistant to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, disclosed that plaques were awarded to both airports by ACI Africa Secretary-General, Ali Tounsi, and President Emmanuel Chaves.

This achievement highlights the commitment of the aviation sector, especially the Honourable Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, SAN, in maintaining top standards of safety and efficiency. 

These awards are a reflection of Nigeria’s progress in ensuring secure travel experiences.
