Jamaica and Sierra Leone have strengthened tourism cooperation, spotlighting youth leadership and resilience in the global travel sector.
At a high‑level meeting in Kingston, Jamaica, officials from both countries agreed to deepen Africa–Caribbean tourism ties and support cultural exchange projects.
The meeting, hosted at Jamaica’s Ministry of Tourism, brought together Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, and Sierra Leone’s Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Nabeela Tunis.
Both nations are aligning efforts with Global Tourism Resilience Day 2026, with Sierra Leone planning a youth‑focused seminar to celebrate resilience and culture.
