In a groundbreaking move, the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu has named Naomi Omolola Sigismund, a distinguished Nigerian businesswoman residing in Canada, as the Trade Commissioner of Vanuatu to Toronto, Canada.
Sigismund, renowned as the mastermind behind the annual Glam African Fashion Festival in both Nigeria and Canada, brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
 Additionally, she is the esteemed Founder of the Hope For Sure Foundation and serves as the Project Director of The African Canada Investment Expo and Summit.
The official announcement of Sigismund’s appointment was conveyed through a letter issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and External Trade.Â
