Zhongshang Fucheng Industrial Investment Ltd, the  Chinese firm, has seized another Nigerian aircraft– a Bombardier 6000 jet in Canada following a Quebec court ruling.

This is part of the firm’s enforcement of a $70 million arbitration award against Nigeria, leading to the confiscation of multiple Nigerian assets, including aircraft and properties in several countries.

Previously, three Nigerian presidential aircraft were seized in France, with one released for President Bola Tinubu’s travel to France.

Travelers may face disruptions in Nigeria’s aviation sector due to these ongoing asset seizures, potentially impacting international flights and diplomatic relations.
