Air Peace, one of Nigeria’s leading airlines, will raise domestic airfares starting November 1, 2024.
This news follows a leaked internal memo intended for private partners, confirming the fare hike.
A senior Air Peace staff member, speaking anonymously, verified the memo’s authenticity.
Business class fares under booking class “J” will rise by 60%, from ₦250,000 to ₦400,000, while class “C” fares will increase by 65%, from ₦200,000 to ₦330,000.
Economy class fares will see a 100% increase for class “Y”, from ₦150,100 to ₦300,000, with other economy fares ranging from ₦120,000 to ₦210,000.

The fare changes come amid rising operational costs for Nigerian airlines, including fuel price fluctuations and currency depreciation.
Air Peace has not yet publicly commented on the memo.
