Boeing has invited Nigeria’s Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo, to the Airline Economics Conference in Dublin on January 12, 2025, to support Nigerian airlines in accessing aircraft leases.

The invitation follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed in August and an Aviation Working Group rating upgrade for Nigeria, reflecting increased confidence in the country’s aviation market.
In preparation for the conference, Boeing is coordinating with Nigerian banks to create a credit enhancement product to reassure global lessors, encouraging them to lease to Nigerian operators.
Keyamo is expected to highlight Nigeria’s recent regulatory updates, including IDERA compliance, to key leasing companies.
