Airbus has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Customer Support Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. This strategic move aims to enhance its presence in Africa and support the region’s growing aviation industry.

The centre will provide tailored support, boost operational efficiency, and develop local capabilities. This will enable airlines to improve performance and reduce costs.

According to Laurent Negre, VP Customer Services Africa and Middle East, “We’re proud to support Africa’s rapid aircraft expansion with local solutions.”

Airbus forecasts significant growth in Africa, predicting a need for 1,460 aircraft, 15,000 pilots, and 20,000 mechanics by 2043.
