Eyewitness footage captured smoke billowing from the aircraft. Responding swiftly, the flight, with 148 passengers and five crew members, was towed back to a gate for evacuation.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) took swift action, halting all incoming flights until operations could resume safely, which occurred around 2:45 pm.
Remarkably, no injuries were reported among the passengers or crew, thanks in part to the rapid response of first responders who swiftly addressed the engine issue.
