The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced new travel guidelines for Nigerian solo tourists, requiring them to be at least 45 years old.
The guidelines also mandate that applicants must provide a six-month bank statement showing a monthly balance of at least $10,000 (N16 million) and a confirmed return ticket on Emirates Airlines to qualify for a 30- or 60-day visa.
Additional requirements include a confirmed hotel booking and a valid residence permit of their current country.
These regulations come after a diplomatic row between Nigeria and the UAE, which led to a visa ban on Nigerians since September 2022.

The ban was lifted after negotiations, but stringent conditions are now in place for Nigerian tourists.
