British model and TikToker Modou Adams has been jailed for nearly seven years in Peru after attempting to smuggle cocaine out of the country.
Adams was intercepted at Jorge Chávez International Airport with 2.9kg of cocaine hidden in his suitcase.
He was sentenced to six years and eight months in a Peruvian prison and was fined and admitted to drug smuggling charges.
Peru’s Supreme Court said Adams was jailed for coordinating the shipment of 3kg of cocaine to London.
