20 corona 20 have changed the way we live and work. It’s about time you changed your orientation from traditional career practice like learning to make hair, nails, tailoring and all sorts of handy work to use abroad over digital skills.

You need to understand the demographic you are likely to encounter abroad if it is likely going to guarantee your income after learning informal skills to use abroad. Have you also considered the language barriers in the country you chose to reside in?

We’ll simply touch on ten lucrative skills you can learn or improve to better your chances of income abroad. I have tried it and am living it. This little piece is for budding travelers, digital nomads, and any student willing to further education abroad especially in countries like Ukraine, Moldova, Turkey, Albania, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Bulgaria, where jobs might not be guaranteed as a student or migrant. It doesn’t matter where you find yourself, you can scale with these lucrative skills.

The whole idea is to be hands-on making money from the comfort of your home or being able to get work.

Coding/Computer Programming

You can build programs, computer software, games, apps, and websites being a programmer. Programming jobs are growing 12% faster in the general market, with the increased reliance on technology. There are tons of resources to learn online as you don’t necessarily need a 4 year bachelor to learn coding or computer programming.

Editing and Proofreading

If you are a natural grammar nerd, and can spot spelling errors a mile away in written English, this is for you. While editing helps you write better, proofreading spots the errors. You may not know this, but you are in demand. There is software that can help you get the job done faster. Just learn how to pitch, then you can land yourself some cool gigs.

Blogging

Blogging is still cashing in if you are willing to put in the hard work. It’s important to find the right niche for you and where the demands are. You can’t want to make money blogging and not make the right plan. There are creative ways people have used blogging as Return-On-Investment. You too can start now.

Virtual Assistance

For those with academic degrees in administration, this is a career to jump in on and make a kill. It’s simply being an online secretary or executive assistant. You will do tasks such as; Data entering, Bookkeeping, Social media management, customer service, lite graphic design work and more. There are tutorial resources to help get started with building the right skills for this job role on YouTube or some free learning online.

Graphic Designing

If you are a creative person, graphic design is a lucrative skill to earn a living abroad. You can find a niche and also learn software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrators, and some other related one’s if you are starting out.

Many companies want to promote their businesses with good visual representation. YouTube is a great resource to help you learn through tutorials.

Copywriting

Technology is changing the way we buy things, and the reasons to buy them lies in a good copy. With Copywriting skills, you will be able to create amazing landing pages, sales emails, and craft words to persuade people to buy products and services, and do what you want them to do.

As a copywriter, you might write a new jingle for a soda commercial, or come up with a new company slogan as the job entails. You can learn from an expat in the field.

In today’s world, there are two major things you own, your email and your website, and not those social media accounts where they may be taken down at any moment. Businesses are creating a place where they can house their content and be found and contacted. Web development is the building and maintenance of websites.

A good web developer makes as much as $100k a year. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube to get you started. You will basically be working behind the scenes to make websites look great, work fast and perform better with a sweat-less user experience.

Video Editing and Production

There is no lack of opportunities being a video editor and producer. Video is now the best marketing and promotional tool, even for educational learning. You could be a wedding videographer or a YouTuber, or serving other networks as many of them have added video and editing features on their applications.

Video editors tasks are generally for editing and synthesizing the finished product, suitable for broadcasting. There are loads of resources online to get started.

Teach Online Classes

Being an educator has gone beyond four walls of the classroom. With almost any knowledge you can be an online teacher teaching students what you know. Another interesting path is developing your own lesson plans and selling them online, making income while you sleep.

For Instance, I could be teaching things related to travel, as well as create courses on travel online.

You can teach online courses in several ways depending on your subject matter. All you need to do is evaluate the best methods of teaching and consider the effective way students can receive the information.

In a highly competitive market, companies struggle for attention and for new customers. Every company, product and service in this world needs a digital marketer to have a better online presence. This career keeps evolving and might soon outcompete traditional advertising. It is a great high income skill you can specialize in with varieties of specialization.
