Passengers flying through Nigeria’s two busiest airports can now connect to free WiFi.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has partnered with MTN Nigeria to provide complimentary internet service at:
- Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Terminal 2, Lagos
- Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja
The move is aimed at improving passenger comfort and bringing Nigerian airports closer to global standards.

Official Launch in Lagos
The rollout was formally launched at MMIA Terminal 2 in Lagos.
FAAN’s Managing Director, Olubunmi Kuku, was represented by Director of Airport Operations Abdullahi Mahmood.
Also present was Lynda Saint-Nwafor, who represented MTN Nigeria CEO Karl Toriola.
Officials described the launch as a major step in modernizing airport services nationwide.
Expansion to More Airports Coming Soon
FAAN confirmed that the free WiFi service will expand to the MMIA temporary terminal and other international airports within the next three months.
The partnership is part of broader aviation reforms aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and sector reforms led by Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo.
