The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has formally unveiled a reviewed Service Charter, marking a strategic move to deepen transparency, institutional accountability, aviation safety, and professional standards across Nigeria’s airport system.
The updated charter reinforces FAAN’s commitment to customer-focused service delivery in line with international best practices within the global aviation industry.
The unveiling ceremony was conducted on behalf of the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development by Mrs. Fransisca Adediji, Acting Director of Reform Coordination and Service Improvement.
The event brought together senior aviation administrators and service-delivery stakeholders.
Mrs. Adediji was supported by the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at FAAN, the Head of Operations from the SERVICOM Office at the Presidency, representatives of national service-quality oversight institutions, and senior FAAN customer-service executives.

The Service Charter provides passengers, airlines, concessionaires, and service partners with clearly articulated service expectations, while establishing measurable performance indicators for airport management and frontline personnel.
