In a move to boost global tourism and business ties, China will grant visa-free entry to citizens from nine additional countries starting November 8, 2024.
Nationals from South Korea, Norway, Finland, Slovakia, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, and Liechtenstein can now enter China for up to 15 days visa-free for purposes such as tourism, business, family visits, or transit.Â
This policy extension, effective through December 31, 2025, aligns with China’s ongoing efforts to streamline travel for European and Asian nationals.
This initiative builds on earlier visa-free arrangements with 18 other European nations, introduced to enhance international exchanges and attract short-term visitors.Â
