Ireland’s national carrier, Aer Lingus, is opening the skies to the Caribbean with a brand-new, limited-time nonstop service linking Dublin directly to Barbados with one-way fares starting from just €229.

The new route creates a seamless gateway from Dublin Airport to the heart of the Caribbean, landing at Grantley Adams International Airport in just over eight hours.

What’s Launching

Beginning March 31, 2026, the seasonal service will operate three times weekly, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, running through May 31, 2026. The flights are designed to meet growing demand for direct Caribbean access from Ireland, especially for winter sun seekers and early summer travellers.

Flying Smarter and More Comfortably

Passengers will travel aboard Aer Lingus’ new Airbus A321XLR, a next-generation aircraft built for long-haul efficiency and comfort. The jet features quieter cabins, enhanced inflight entertainment, and both Business and Economy options, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination.

Why Barbados

The route delivers nonstop access to Bridgetown, a UNESCO-listed capital celebrated for its colonial history, coral-sand beaches, world-famous rum, and vibrant culinary scene.

Tourism officials say the new service reflects strengthening ties between Ireland and Barbados, following the island nation’s embassy opening in Dublin in 2024, a move that signalled deeper cultural, economic, and travel partnerships.
