The Nigerian government has denied reports that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has resumed visa services for Nigerian citizens.
There has been reports that the UAE lifted the visa restriction on Nigerian travelers on March 4, 2024.
The Nigerian government claimed this was a milestone, reflecting successful talks between the two nations.
However, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu denied that the UAE has resumed visa issuance to Nigerians and that the document in circulation is not authorized by either the Nigerian government or the UAE.
