British Airways has grounded its aircraft at Murtala International Airport, Ikeja, due to a technical fault, causing significant flight disruptions.
The airline has issued a formal apology and assured affected passengers that accommodations and meals will be covered.
Mrs. Tutu Otuyalo, the airline’s Regional Commercial Manager for Nigeria and Ghana, emphasized that safety remains their top priority, stating that flights will not operate unless deemed safe.
Affected passengers have been rebooked on alternative flights with carriers such as Virgin Atlantic and Delta Airlines following the cancellation of British Airways flight BA 74, originally bound for Heathrow, London, from Lagos.
British Airways continues to communicate with customers to address the delays and inconveniences caused.
