Nigerian R&B star Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has relocated to the United States.
He relocated with his family to pursue a Master’s degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
The 43-year-old musician and entertainment executive shared the news on Instagram, posting a family photo with his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child at the airport.
Banky W asked his followers for well wishes as they begin this new chapter.
The singer, born in the US, is set to study Policy Management for a year.
Despite unsuccessful political campaigns in Nigeria’s Eti-Osa Federal Constituency, Banky W remains committed to leadership and personal growth.
Celebrities and fans, including Darey Art Alade and Rita Dominic, wished him and his family well on this journey.
