Polokwane is hosting the 2026 African Tourism Leadership Forum.
Holding from 2 to 4 September 2026., Seven hundred and fifty delegates from Sixty countries. will spend three days engaging in deals, policy, and continental ambition.
Since its founding in Accra, Ghana, in 2018, ATLF has developed into a continental center for policy creation and industry discussion.
Over 500 delegates from over 30 nations, including ministers, CEOs of tourism, and senior executives, attended the first editions.

The 2024 forum hosted nearly 800 physical delegates and 2,000 virtual participants from 95 countries, solidifying ATLF’s position as the primary gathering place for African tourism.
Subsequent editions in Durban, Kigali, and Gaborone, Botswana, increased attendance.
Selection
Limpopo was chosen with consideration.
After three years in a row in Gaborone, Botswana, this is the first time the forum will meet in Limpopo Province.
The cycle demonstrates the organizers’ dedication to raising awareness of a variety of African travel locations and highlighting prospects for sustainable development throughout the continent.
The forum tackles Africa’s most pressing tourism priorities head-on. Intra-African connectivity, sustainable growth, tourism investment, and career development for women and youth.
