Four Nigerian students in the UK have been sentenced to prison following a violent knife fight on New Park Street, Leicester.
The altercation reported to have happened on November 4, 2021 left one victim with multiple stab wounds.
An investigation by Leicester Police, aided by CCTV footage and public assistance, identified the culprits: Destiny Ojo, Habib Lawal, Ridwanulahi Raheem, and Joshua Davies-Ero.
Sentences ranging from two to seven years were issued on November 14 after a six-week trial.
Ojo received seven years for grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent, while Lawal was sentenced to five years, Raheem three, and Davies-Ero two.
A fifth defendant, Justin Asamoah, will be sentenced on November 22.
