The U.S. embassy in Abuja and the consulate in Lagos will switch to a new visa services provider on August 26, 2024.

Travelers with visa interviews scheduled before August 16 should continue using ustraveldocs.com without any need for additional action.

However, access to ustraveldocs.com accounts will end after August 16, preventing appointment cancellations or rescheduling.

Applicants are advised to print their appointment confirmation letters before August 16 and attend their scheduled visa interviews.

Those with interviews on or after August 26 need no further action until the transition. Starting August 26, travelers should visit the new visa services website for instructions on creating new user accounts.

The embassy urges applicants who have already paid the visa application fee to schedule their interviews promptly and review the provided information based on their interview dates.
