TAP Air Portugal is flying directly to Central Florida for the first time. The Portuguese flag carrier has confirmed a new nonstop service between Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) and Orlando International Airport (MCO), launching October 29, 2026.

Until now, travellers between Portugal and Central Florida had no nonstop option.

The new route gives Central Florida passengers a direct connection to Portugal and onward destinations throughout Europe, Africa, and beyond via TAP’s Lisbon hub. For European passengers, it removes the need to connect through another hub to reach one of America’s busiest leisure destinations.

TAP CEO Luís Rodrigues made the announcement at the Lisbon Tourism Fair (BTL) on February 26 and was direct about the airline’s US ambitions:

“The airline cannot hide from the United States,” he said, framing North America as central to the airline’s profitability and long-term network strategy.

Schedule, Aircraft, and Cabin

All flights operate as TP267, departing Lisbon at 12:50pm and arriving in Orlando at 5:40pm after a nine-hour and 50-minute journey. Monday services use the Airbus A330-200, while Thursday and Saturday flights are operated by the Airbus A330-900neo.

The A330-900neo features the “Airspace by Airbus” cabin, offering a quieter environment and updated lie-flat Business Class pods.

Both aircraft will introduce TAP’s new Intermediate Cabin product launching in summer 2026.

Positioned between Business and Economy, the new cabin offers a neighbour-free guarantee on select economy seats alongside priority check-in, fast-track security, priority boarding, an enhanced amenity kit, and upgraded meal options, a direct pitch at the growing premium-leisure travel segment.
